From music to acting, 15-year old Coco Jones is conquering the entertainment industry one movie and song at a time. As runner up on Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing” in 2010, Coco has been on the move straight to the top and hasn’t looked back since. Now signed with Hollywood Records, the Let It Shine star has been busy working on her upcoming EP titled, “Made Of.” She recently took time out of her jammed packed schedule to sit down for an exclusive chat with Blackcelebkids.com to dish on her new single, upcoming projects, fun facts, and much more.
During the chat, Coco talked about her inspiration behind her hit single Holla at the DJ. “I was at a teen club with my family and some of my friends and I kept asking the DJ to play my song and he wouldn’t play it. So I kept asking him. Finally when he played it, I could just dance so crazy. So I was like, ‘That should be a song,’ ” she recalled.
Now that the busy young star is on the home stretch for releasing her EP, she is ready to start new projects which include a new book currently titled,”This is Only The Beginning”, and another guest appearance on “Good Luck Charlie.”
“Right now my EP has been my main priority because I really wanted to focus on it and make sure it was perfect for everybody, but now that it’s about to premiere I have some more free time to do some more on the acting side. I’m actually going back to film another episode of Good Luck Charlie,” she said.
