A star is born!  Reginae Carter, daughter of rap mogul and Young Money Entertainment record label founder Lil Wayne, recently signed on to the famous label. The former OMG Girl will share a label with some of the music world’s best up and coming new artists such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, PJ Morton and Torion Sellers.

It should come as no surprise that the talented 14-year old is jumping on to the successful label. Although the label is well-known for its established talent, Young Money president Mack Maine is working on bringing new talent to the forefront. “Right now, I’m trying to get the Young Money young’ns going, ” he said during a red carpet interview.

Reginae’s talented family makes it easy to see why her career is a good fit for the record label. “Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, is actually signed to Young Money now,”  Mack said. “Just expect greatness. She’s Toya [Wright's] daughter and Wayne’s daughter, so that’s a great combination. She’s a megastar.”
