Quvenzhane Wallis attended the Sixth Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on February 21st.
The “Beasts of the Southern Wild” actress continues to capture the hearts of critics and fans everywhere as she was honored at the event. The tiny 9-year old needed a little help being heard at the podium. She stood on a step and thanked God, her “Beasts” director Behn Zeitlin and her on-set babysitter.
Quvenzhane is the youngest person to be nominated in the category of best-actress in the history of the Oscars. The Oscars is set to air LIVE this Sunday, February 24th.
