Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop singer Michael Jackson, was reportedly hospitalized Wednesday morning after a possible suicide attempt:

Via TMZ: Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, and sources tell us it was a suicide attempt. Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The 911 call came in at 1:27 AM. We’re told the caller reported a possible overdose, although a source connected to the emergency response said there was cutting.

On Tuesday night … Paris posted some cryptic tweets, including, “I wonder why tears are salty?” … and “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”

We’re told she’s doing ok.

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009.

Stay tuned for more…

  1. Mrs. Jackson is too old to care for three children on her own which is why TJ was named a co guardian. But, it is said that he Ives almost two hours away and has a family of his own. It’s awfully funny that none of that was brought up when he volunteered to be the co guardian. He had a family then, he lived almost two hours away then, nobody bought that up when he asked for more money to take care of michaels children. No ody said anything when they were taking michael children to hawaii on vacation along with their children and significant others talking about it was to get othem away from the coverage of the anniversary of his death. But now oeverybody want to act surprised. Nobody is taking michaels wishes into thought, if they were, his children would not be in the media like they have been, and Debbie Rowe would not be in Paris life right now. She wasn’t around when they were growing up for a reason and Michael knew that reason and that should have been still in place until they are grown and making their own decisions. As for the money Grubbs, it’s basically only two and that is Jermaine and Randy. They are the two who have done they least out of everybody, especially Randy. Jermaine could have a career if he had not dissed Michael and the record company dropped him. I feel for Paris because she really has nobody to turn to. On one side, she has a mother she barely knows who basically took money overher children. On the other side, she’s living with family that she really didnt know until her father died. Two of her uncles and apparently her co guardian are money hungry as well. This is everything that Michael was trying to shield his children from and nobody is following his wishes for his children. I hope that this child finally get the help that she needs. Buying them things and taking them on trips does not replace the only p aren’t they ever knew.

  2. Dear Paris

You will feel so much better let your hair grow back. Bring back your natural color.

  3. This is sad. She is crying out for help. Is anyone listening? The entire family seems to need an intervention.

  4. If this is true, then this is obviously a real cry for help. I just wish MJ was still alive so he could continue to keep his kids sheltered. I don’t think it is good to keep kids sheltered, but it seem like when MJ died things just hit the fan.

  5. You all are so insensitive. The only thing you guys are seeing is the fact that she has money, so what.

She lost her father the only parent that she’s ever had at a young age, and she is having a hard time dealing with it. This is the month of his death. It’s been four years of her life without him, four years changes and growth and he’s not here to see it.
Anyone who have lost someone close to them can identify with how she feels and some people have a hard time dealing with things than others. Money can’t buy happiness, peace, joy, fulfillment, and it definitely can’t bring back the dead.

Do you know how low you have to get mentally to want to not live anymore? It’s the point when you lose hope in everything. It’s the point when it seems like nothing will ever change. Do you know how much worse it is to actually try and kill yourself? Most people are afraid of death and chicken out because of fear, but when it gets to the point of acting on it, that person soul is really drowning in pain and grief. I speaking from experience. Have some compassion. She dealing with some deep, deep, issues which some people never reach. When you hit rock bottom like that you realize that the essential things in life can’t be bought. No amount of money in the world can replace peace.

  6. I’m so glad her life was saved. Uncle Jermaine , et al, will gladly take her share of her Dad’s inheritance.

    • Seriously nothing good will ever come from Jermaine and crew hanging around Michael’s kids they leeched off their own brother and now they want to do the same to his kids. They should have got the boot from living there long ago they are nothing but lazy freeloading adults. Their stunt with Katherine Jackson shows what they are all about and they don’t care if it’s at their family’s expense. Michael’s kids are nothing but a meal ticket to Jermaine and the rest.

  7. Media attention is not helping. Their dad was right by trying to shield them form the public. Poor child.

  8. OMG! She’s a cutter & not getting psychiatric help? Wow. Something is seriously off with the people placed in care of this young lady. Cutting isn’t something that started overnight, she’s being doing this for a while. May God continue to watch over her, Prince & Blanket.

  9. Looks can be deceiving- yesterday she posted a video and she looked quite normal. And now this? whoah! My prayers are with her.

That said, I truly have no idea why so many middle class/rich kids resort to suicide when things don’t go well in their lives (and yes, I know that one’s trouble are relative (relational) to one’s environment but still, I question this trend).

  10. BCK — Please find my comment on this post in regards to your “thumbs down” option. Thank you kindly.

  11. Sounds like Miss Paris is a typical spoiled teen — compounded with other problems that have occurred in her young life. I pray peace and happiness for this child — and NO I do NOT blame the Jackson’s. Paris’s issues were in the making long before Michael died.God help them.

A source connected to the family says … Paris “threw a fit” last night after she was told she couldn’t go to a Marilyn Manson concert. We’re told she ran into her room screaming and slammed the door.

On May 19, Paris said, “Kurt Cobain is Jesus” during a video chat with someone … and she posted the whole exchange on Vine.

  12. I don’t feel sorry for her i am tired of these celebrities and celebrity kids acting like their life is so horrible when they have everything the need and more in their lives it’s not fair because what do you leave for normal teenagers who don’t have the money or recognition like Paris does??? And I am certain are going through a heck of alot more than Paris is, if you compare the two lives you will come to the realization that teens would be dropping like flies none the less I believe that she like many other celeb kids is spoiled and entitled she is a drama queen with no respect for her family I do not feel for her my opinion

    • Just because I have compassion for Paris doesn’t mean I don’t have compassion for others. It’s not a competition. I’m sorry that you think that material possessions and fame are everything but it’s really not.

      • Well then you totally misconstrued the point I was trying to make it is BECAUSE of her fame and money that she is this way strip her of it and she is like every other teen but the reality is she’s not so something that may be suicide worthy for her may not be the case for others yet what it all boils down to is the fact that she is ungrateful and spoiled and doesn’t realize what she has its called having appreciation if she appreciated her life she wouldn’t try to take it point blank period

    • Have you ever heard the saying money doesn’t always equal Happiness. I’m sure she would give all the money in the world to have her father back and to just live a normal life.

      • Please refer to the latter part of my comment it is MY opinion I disregarded everything including her famous last name and said to myself these celebrities do not need my sympathy in fact they do not deserve it everyday teens deserve it more Paris is an ungrateful girl

    • So you think just because she has money she is happy? You have issues. This child is still missing her dad. Not only that do you see the nasty things grown ass adults say to this child on twitter? How would you feel if you think that the only person who ever truly loved you is no longer here?

      • No the question is what is wrong with YOU? I stated my opinion and you cannot change it so the statement you typed was in vain how many flaming teens have lost parents etc??? I’ll answer for you a sh*t load it’s not about the bloody money you prick it’s about her attitude she is a brat

      • @Ashley, anyone with half a brain knows that having money those not insure happiness. But maybe (“Not only that do you see the nasty things grown *ss adults say to this child on twitter?”), this child and others like her, need to STAY OF TWITTER AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA, since they can’t handle what others say to them. No one can say nasty things to you or bully you on social media if you do not let them in. I consider myself to be a quasi-adult and I have a lot of responsibilities but my parents have made social media a no-no. At first I complained because everyone has some sort of social media but as time as gone by my parents were correct and I have never gone behind their back to do so.

Michael Jackson has a lot to eventually answer for. When he started having children they should have been more important to him than drugs. In his will he should have appointed an appropriate guardian for his children, an elderly woman and a woman well past her bloom who has no interest in raising children after her own were grown were not appropriate guardians.

Putting Paris and her brothers through another trial is not good guardianship when you take into consideration the children have more money than them and their grandchildren could spend and this trial is taking responsibility for Jacksons death from him and making ?AEG? responsible. Jackson was a grown man who made bad choices and to convince his children that a grown man was not responsible for the choice to use drugs is making Paris’s situation worse. She is already acting like a spoiled brat and I’m sure eventually she’ll blame someone for her suicide attempt. Perhaps the person who didn’t let her go to the concert.

Here at school I am a peer counselor and as part of our duties we man the teen hotline. Do you know what its like to talk down a teenager from doing something stupid because they have real problems, from step-dad or “uncles” inappropriate touching’s to parents being out of work and the Housing Council is throwing the family off the estate so you do the right thing. You convince them that if they just wait one more day things will be different then you follow-up making sure they have connected with the right resources. You feel good about what you did then that night some brat calls in wanting to harm themselves because they didn’t get the expensive trainers they wanted or a new car. You treat all callers the same even though you wish you could let the wealthy ones talk to the poor ones, let them see a person with REAL problems.

    • Just because she has money, doesnt mean she has everything she needs in life. Something is going on in that family… Think about it, why is she running to her mother who abandoned her for money all of a sudden? She is missing real parental guidance.

    • Just confirmed it was a suicide attempt. This difficult time with AEG trial and.her grandma at courthouse everyday, torn between Jacksons and Debbie Rowe, father’s day, anniversary of Michael ‘s death,Wade Robson abuse allegations, has to testify in AEG trial, that guy doing interviews saying he is her father…Bullies on twitter+just being a teen.I attempted suicide as a teen after my parents. Broke up and my first boyfriend dumped me.This too shall pass

    • According to Debbie Rowe (allegedly) Paris was rushed to the hospital with cuts on her wrist in the early morning hours. Rowe tells ET that Jackson has had “a lot going on lately”.

  13. Between this AEG trial and bullies,Father’s Day and anniversary of her daddy’s death..She needs to get off twitter too

  14. Good lord !!….please help this child get well soon. This is so heartbreaking to hear from such a young child. The Jacksons need to ALL get together and start taking care of these children , and STOP bickering over money. Family love is much more valuable. Get well soon baby girl.

    • Seriously and those kids are left to fend for themselves dealing with toxic relatives who are nothing more than leeches. It’s almost as if she is reliving the nightmare Michael had to live through growing up I pray this won’t be the case for her and I hope she gets the help she needs. If things are this bad to where she feels suicide is an answer something needs to be done.

  15. Absolutely heartbreaking. Poor Paris has had more heartbreak in her life than any child should ever have and this is proof that money and fame don’t buy happiness. I’m pulling for you Paris!

I wish that Debbie Rowe hadn’t commented on it either. It just really rubbed me the wrong way.
