Game

Hilarious moment between Cali Dream and The Game. The toddler was riding along in tow as her dad chauffeured her and her brothers around when she began to sing. Cali’s song of choice was ‘Drunk in Love’ by Beyonce.

The Game appeared to be okay with his daughter singing a few lyrics until she got to the part about swerving on the surfboard. “Surfboard, surfboard…I’m swerving on it. I’m swerving on it,” sang Cali. The Game immediately reacted by saying, “You ain’t swervin’ on nothing. What you talkin’ bout. Talking about you swerving on something. You gon’ get a whooping.” Hilarious.

Of course, the rapper didn’t spank Cali for singing the lyrics to a song that she didn’t know much about but rather gave her a good old fashioned lecture that she could handle at the tender age of three. “I told her she can’t sing the ‘surfboard’ part on @Beyonce,” tweeted the rap star. “Good Daddy. Discipline. NO whoopings. The Kevin Hart stare works every time.”

Cali Dream is The Game’s only daughter. The rap star also has two sons named Harlem and King Justice (pictured above).

  3. I would like to thank you for the endeavors you have made in writing this piece of writing. I am trusting the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own blog now. Actually the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a fine representative of it.

  4. Beyonce’s songs are not for little girls….Period, The Game is just trying to stay relevant, and kiss up to Beyonce…….

  5. I like him as a dad. and the children are cute but forget the part she is singing what about the cursing in the song??????

  6. Adorable little kids. Dream is a great dad doing the best he knows that I am certain. But, folks, in the music stores and online there are tons of music that are made just for kids with age appropriate messages (Seusical the Musical) that are positive and inspirational. Of course, exposing them to gospel/Christian and classical is always a great way to broaden your kids horizons beyond the hood and keep the message clean. And, might I add, its best to listen to their music in their presence and listen to more adult music in your headphones or out of earshot of your kids. Trust me, you don’t want to deal with the teenager who has years of Beyoncé or some of these other entertainers ringing in their heads louder and more influential than your voice. Do your thing on your time and do their thing on their time.

  7. Parents: If you are doing it kids will emulate you. That’s called cognition. Don’t want to hear them say or sing certain words then don’t play the music when they are around.

  8. Good daddy! Please Cali could’ve heard that song from anywhere? Anywho beutiful kids and @Theyknow still didn’t know what she meant until just then!

    • Only if you’re letting your kids go “anywhere.” This myth perpetuated by those in the pop culture life is interesting to me. In college, there were kids that never heard the same music that I did or watched the same shows because of different parenting styles. My friends have children that couldn’t name a single Beyonce song. But, they would know all Disney songs. They’re also under 10.

      • If you have staff that work in your home or your kids have older cousins it is possible for them to hear a Beyonce song. People who don’t have younger children are not always conscious of what they are doing around your kids and mistakes can happen. These are teachable moments and a great opportunity to share your values with your kids.

  9. Precious! Love The Game. Beyonce is a 30 something yr old woman trying to act like she 20. Be a classy mom and wife, drunk in love is a stupid song that doesn’t make any sense. Much like all her music. Terrible, some role model she is..her and Kim K are two of a kind.

    • ARE YOU SERIOUS? NEVER COMPARE BEYONCE AND KIM. AS A MATTER OF FACT, PLEASE DONT EVEN PUT THEM IN THE SAME SENTENCE. BEYONCE HAS WORKED HARD TO MAKE HER MONEY AND SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN RESPECTFUL AND HUMBLE. KIM K HAS ONLY MADE HER MONEY FROM SLEEPING WITH MULTIPLE MEN. BEYONCE HAS PRODUCED AND WRITTEN SOME OF HER MUSIC. KIM K HAS DONE NOTHING.

  10. How about he should not have her listening to the song? You can’t tell a child they can’t sing what you’re introducing to them.

  11. He also posted a picture on IG where she was mad with him b/c he said she couldn’t sing that part..LOL!! I don’t blame him cause I’m just learning what that part actually means myself.
