Eleven-year-old Jaiya Worthy is a star in the making. Since she was a little girl, Jaiya has marched to the beat of her own drum and displayed the potential to be a trailblazer.
The young entrepreneur recently designed and launched her very own t-shirt line called T.G.I.S (“Thank God I’m Smart”). The apparel line currently features two designs, a white t-shirt with a black and yellow T.G.I.S logo and a black t-shirt with a yellow and gray T.G.I.S logo. The shirts range in sizes from 0-3 months to size 16.
Jaiya’s goal is to inspire kids and let them know that it’s cool TO BE SMART! She also wants to let young people know that bullying is unacceptable and it’s not ok to be teased for being different.
Although the clothing line is very important to the tiny mogul, Jaiya is no stranger to success. She has accomplished some remarkable things in her short life. She has always been goal oriented and ready for the next big thing.
Jaiya has competed in the USATF Junior Olympics since the age of 9 years old and at the age of 10 she became an USATF All American Triathlon Junior Olympic Champion. She is also the reigning Midwest Regional Champion in the 400m dash within the 9-10 age group and she is a cheerleader and a tumbler. She is a part of a Christian dance team and, most importantly, she has been an Honor Roll student consistently since Kindergarten.
Jaiya has humongous dreams and plans for her apparel line. Jaiya will be expanding her line within the next year. Stay tuned and be on the lookout for more from Jaiya and T.G.I.S.
