TV Host LaLa Vazquez-Anthony and her son Kiyan were spotted out and about this week at Angelina’s Frozen Yogurt shop in West Hollywood.Later on, the duo were seen getting into LaLa’s new car, a bright orange Dodge Challenger convertible. According to sources, the television host is “a very good mother and [is] always smiling for the cameras.”

11 year old Durvel Wilson Jr. a.k.a Young Vishis from York, PA has one promise: that “everyone of all ages will be able to listen to this CD and play it anywhere.”  Here is a mini biography about Young Vishis:

For Young Vishis it started when he said “Mom, Dad I am going to do a show in the living room and I am going to have a big turn out.” Young Vishis hand wrote flyers and passed them out to all his mom’s friends, family and clients. His mother, Marisa Shockley-Wilson said, “I just came downstairs and my living room was full with people”. He performed an hour long show and included his dancers to fill time.”

When watching him on stage you have to marvel at how comfortable he looks up there. He plays to the audience and just has fun. He dances, freestyles, and involves the audience with no coaching at all. When he entered his first talent show, it was obvious that he was way past that stage. His current goal is [to perform] at car shows, events centers and charity events. He is also working on a Christmas Boys & Girls club tour on the East Coast. Young Vishis has started his acting career landing a role as a celebrity interviewer for “The VIP Section” and is currently shooting for an independent film called “No Regret” directed by Blind Vision Films.

In the latest issue of People magazine, singer Usher opens up about being a dad to Usher V, who turns 3 in November, and Naviyd, who turns 2 a month later, his career and his failed marriage. Here is an excerpt from the article:

Life Father, Like Sons

Raising two boisterous boys can be challenging, especially when they take after their famous dad. “Usher [V] is always in everything,” he says. “He’s an instigator. He’s the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age.”

Naviyd is more of a follower, doing whatever his big brother does. “So if one gets in trouble, the other one does, too,” says Usher. “They both have a lot of energy. They can wear me out.”

His Career
Usher, who released his new EP Versus last week, says that his work continues to evolve as he evolves in his own life.

“My music is about where I am at the time,” he says. “In Raymond vs. Raymond, I was going through a lot of things, and it came out in my music. My marriage fell apart and I was suddenly a single father. But now, with Versus, I’m singing about being a dating father.”

Actress  Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter Willow Smith, who will be ten years old in October,  were photographed taking a walk in Central Park yesterday.

Earlier this year, Jada confirmed to Ambassador magazine that Willow is working on a new album.

“I had always been too afraid to venture into music, but I decided when I was about 30 to just go for it. I started a metal band called Wicked Wisdom. I toured and I loved it. But soon after, my kids’ careers started taking off, so I sacrificed it. I am pleased to say my daughter, Willow, will be putting out an album soon and I look forward to enjoying music through her creations. I am excited about that, and she’s pretty awesome. She will be better at it then I ever could be anyway!”
